I started my wool journey about 4 years ago when I was introduced to rug hooking by a good friend and it quickly became a passion. I love to introduce interesting fibres that are mostly hand dyed by small Canadian wool and rug hooking studios. I use a mix of traditional wool cloth, wool yarn, roving, velvet and sari silk in my mini rugs because I like the textural interest they give my work. It’s always a surprise to see what will be on my frame next. I have had a few of my designs recently published in A Needle Pulling Thread Magazine. I was honoured and thrilled to find my work in the pages of this beautiful magazine.
